When I saw that there was a new cream coming out from By Wishtrend, I just had to sign up for the review list! The promotional materials made the By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream look like a light gel-ish type cream. I’m also currently finding some difficulties with getting a good moisturizer – you know? Most of the products lately have been a bit stale for me, so my skin was really looking for something new! What better than a cream that has some propolis in it? ;)

Quickie
The Good
- Skin feels more moisturized the next morning & throughout the day, if I use it as a part of my daytime routine
- Doesn’t irritate my skin – so I think it should be good for those with sensitive skin
- Didn’t bring back any eczema flareups I have had in the past
- Soothing

- Can’t think of any bad points at the moment!
Will I buy this?
Yes – it’s a moisturizer that I would consider purchasing! I like gel-based creams and it made me skin feel smooth and hydrated the next morning. It also didn’t irritate my eczema (which I oddly started developing recently)!

Glass! It’s great that they use glass, especially at its price point, but I do wonder if there are other better sustainable alternatives to this kind of packaging

Texture
Oof. I love this kind of texture – it just looks so moisturizing, light and refreshing. Gooey, but not gooey.
Application
It’s suggested to gently tap the product onto your skin lightly after it’s been absorbed. When it’s in its cream stage, they just recommend to apply it as you would a normal cream. I was surprised that with this product, a little goes a very long way.
That tiny amount I was able to apply it all over the back of my hand and a bit past my wrist. Given that it’s 50mL, it’s nice to know that I don’t have to use *too* much of the product at a time.
Effectiveness
I really liked how light the finish was on my skin, it wasn’t sticky, heavy or oily. It was light enough to last me throughout the entire day, while keeping my skin moisturized. It also helped maintain the balance of my skin – I didn’t feel my skin get too oily (even with sunscreen on) when I used this moisturizer. You can see how moisturized my hand looks and how much of my arm I was able to apply this moisturizer to even with a small amount!
All in all, I was impressed with this product and is probably now one of my favourites from By Wishtrend! I don’t have many favourites from this brand and am quite picky with what I try… the biggest thing is that it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin and did it’s job. What more can you ask for?
