Thank You Farmer is one of those low-key KBeauty brands that you don’t hear much about unless you’re on Instagram. It blew up quite a bit last year (if I remember correctly?) and many IGers and beauty bloggers reviewed and really loved their miracle age line, which I’ve never tried before since I don’t think its benefits will show on my skin yet. Anyways, back when I made my first hellodaint.com purchase, this Thank You Farmer cleanser was included with the box and I finally got around to using it.
A few months ago, Maria from nailpolishcanada.com contacted me to ask if I wanted to try out the Vitry Nail Repair Care Sensitive. And I thought – why not? My nails are pretty weak and fragile – might mainly be due to some vitamin deficiency. Anyways, when I read how this product is known for healing damaged, split, brittle nails in a few weeks, I was intrigued and wanted to give it a try.
Trying to get a skincare routine started can be tough if you don’t know where to start. It takes a lot of trial and error to find out what works best for your skin and what doesn’t. In high school, the first brand that I had ever tried for skincare was Biotherm! After awhile, Biotherm didn’t work as well for me so I wanted to switch to a new brand and that’s when I tried Kiehl’s. The sales associate recommended their entire “Ultra Facial” line (not the oil-free one). The only gem out of the cleanser, toner and cream that I was recommended to try was the Ultra Facial Cleanser.
It feels like all I’ve been doing lately is reviewing a bunch of toners. This is what I get for lacking self-control and opening multiple toners at once. But I’ve learnt my lesson and I’m slowly.. slowly getting through each one and finishing them. So the toner I have in the spotlight for this post is the “**1st place in ‘2016 GLOWPICK CONSUMER BEAUTY AWARD’ !” – arguably Wishtrend’s most popular and beloved product.
Approximately a month ago, I applied for Swanicoco’s 2nd round of SWANS aka SWANS2! I was lucky enough to get picked and my contact, May, curated a package based on the skin concerns that I sent in my application. They were extremely generous with the amount of products that they sent over – if you’re interested in seeing what came in my package check out my post on Instagram! Anyways, the first product that I will be reviewing from their package is The Bio Therapy 1st Essence. This essence can be categorized under “First Treatment Essences” because it mainly contains fermented ingredients.
SON & PARK Beauty Water is aesthetics. Really, I don’t know what the creators were thinking, but this product would look nice in any photo with a white background. It’s so simple. Anyways! This is the highly raved Beauty Water that many beauty gurus love. Of course there was that whole debacle with the original creators of SON & PARK and the company, so a lot of people boycotted the brand. Still, I wanted to give it a try and see why so many people loved it and if it was really as great as people claimed.
About 2 weeks ago, I received an email from Shir Lin from b.liv asking if I wanted to try out their product “off with those heads.” At first, I wasn’t sure – I’ve heard of b.liv before and have seen their price range (eep!). So with a bit of googling, turns out other beauty blogs have tried this product out before and have said that it really helped in reducing their blackheads (check out this one, if you’re curious). Shir Lin kindly DHL’d the product over to me and I received it without any problems. Glad I got it before winter and Christmas hit too!
