My Shy Boss is long over, and I probably should’ve done this much earlier.. but I didn’t realise how long making these take! What I really enjoy about watching Korean Dramas, is too see what is currently trendy in South Korea in terms of fashion and makeup. My Shy Boss was a really cute and comedic drama that has pretty sad twist to it – if you have time, I’d give this one a try. It wasn’t amazing, not the kind that you’d wait week to week for, but still a good light drama to watch during your spare time! The inspired look that I will be doing today is from the main female character of My Shy Boss, Chae Ro Woon. I’m no MUA, so let’s see what I come up with haha.
COSRX has become one of those brands that I see everywhere and in almost everyone’s routines (within the beauty community on IG/reddit). They’re known for having minimal and simple ingredients and products that work really well for certain specific skin concerns such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads, clogged pores etc. This product is one of the first COSRX products that I have used – the One Step Pimple Clear Pads. There are many who call this product a Holy Grail (HG), but there are also a few reviews that said that there were other better similar products out there. I’ve been using this for the past 5 months, trying to vary how I use it, and minimising the amount of products and steps I have in my routine in order to see how well this product actually works.
LANEIGE is one of the KBeauty brands that is highly popular mainly due to its most well-known product, the Water Sleeping Mask and it’s funky Two-Tone products (in particular, the lip bars – which I reviewed here). I’ve been trying the Water Sleeping Mask (WSM, for short) for almost a year now! It is one of the first sleeping masks that I’ve tried, and was recommended to me by a co-worker. I purchased this in HK from BONJOUR for $120HKD (if I remember correctly – though I don’t think the price will be the same now?). This product can also be found in Sephora, and the Aritaum store in Aberdeen, for those who are from Vancouver and are interested. :)
Thank you LEADERS USA for sending these in exchange for my honest review! Originally, I was going to put both the Argan Oil Cleansing Tissue in the same post but I had so much that I wanted to go over in that one. So, I decided to make a separate post for this one! The product that I will be reviewing is another one of their cleansing tissues – except this one is made for the lip and eyes. It’s called the LEADERS LABOTICA Green Tea Lip&Eye Point Remover Cleansing Tissue! I’ve used eye makeup removers before that were quite similar to this kind of product but those weren’t for me..so will I like these ones?
Thank you LEADERS USA for sending these to me in exchange for my honest review! I know I recently made a post on my current cleansers, but these were sent to me after I made my post T_T – but I will be including how I will be using this product/when I will be using, in hopes that it will help someone haha ; u ;! The product that was sent to me is the LABOTICA Argan Oil Deep Cleansing Tissue, which is now available for sale at Ulta Beauty. As far as cleansing tissues go, I’m not a huge fan of them – but they are great when I feel lazy about doing my skincare routine. But, I’ve only tried one other cleansing tissue which are the Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes so let’s see how this one compares!
Etude House always comes out with super cute and adorable products – these eye shadows are not an exception. The Eye Shadow line is called “Look at My Eyes” and has several variants in this line (Look at My Eyes Cafe etc). When I was in HK, I bought these shades because I didn’t want it to look like I had makeup on, but at the same time I wanted it to make my eyes look more awake, alive basically, and slightly bigger (with that aegyo sal thing – which btw, I can never seem to do). Anyways, I only picked out a few because well, although I didn’t have any of my palettes when I was there, I didn’t want to add to my collection of things o_o||. So I picked really neutral colours, nothing fancy – but really practical and good for everyday use :).
A couple months ago, I did a post on what my summer and winter moisturizer picks were. At that time, that was when I first started trying the CLINIQUE Moisture Surge and immediately loved how great it is for the cold winter dry weather. Now that I am over halfway done with this product, and pretty much formed a solid opinion on this – I decided to write a review! When people ask me what moisturisers I use, this is one of the products that I usually mention :)
